Brian Padgett Discovers Henderson is a Cocaine-Friendly Place

Click to see image full size

As Brian Padgett has discovered. Apparently Henderson PD looks the other way when you admit to the criminal act of ingesting a Schedule II drug — cocaine. Possession of cocaine for a first-time conviction in Nevada supposedly carries a penalty of 1-4 years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine.

I’m not sure how the Henderson PD investigators wouldn’t at least charge Brian Padgett with possession, when he admitted to them he used cocaine the night of Katie Howard’s death on Moyer Drive in Henderson.

I am in total disbelief that you can be found in the presence of a dead woman with a large amount of cocaine on a nearby dresser, then offer someone $100,000 to do something about the death — exactly what, we’re not sure of. The police catch you in a lie. Then release you to go home?

Let me make this simple:
A: Katie Howard found dead from a concoction of cocaine, meth & heroin
B: Las Vegas attorney Brian Padgett, (a privileged license holder of marijuana) admits to investigating Henderson police officers he did cocaine and that he’s done it on more than one occasion
C: Police let you go – no handcuffs, no seat in the back of a squad car, no trip to jail, no charges.
D: Henderson named (by me) as a cocaine-friendly town
E: Let’s not forget the large amount of cocaine found on the dresser in the bedroom where Katie was found dead, documented by the police who did, what, exactly? Look the other way? Nothing. Nada.

Today’s DDos Attack On This Website:
Not Effective!
The Truth Shall Overcome

This entire situation is not funny in any way, shape or form; a human life was lost, after all. But I have to have a little fun with this DDos attack attempt. It was stressful all the way around today, trying to figure out what was going on with the website. When we reached out to the company that hosts this website, we were told we were hit with a DDos attack. A DDos attack (a Distributed Denial-Of-Service) is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal website traffic by targeting the server by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic. In short a DDos attack’s ultimate goal is to cause the website to be unresponsive due to the overwhelming amount of traffic flooding the website’s servers and to effectively shut it down.

But we survived the attack, and we’re back up and running, as you can see. The DDos attack overwhelmed the site with some 17 million hits.

I’ve received information from a confidential source that identified who was responsible for this attack.

There’s only one person running with Brian Padgett who’s smart enough to do it. I know who she is, and Brian certainly knows that I know who she is.

But they weren’t smart enough. As I said in the headline, the truth shall overcome!

I will not be stopped. I will not pull down this website, and I will not allow someone else to take it down.

Brian, you will forever

be my Internet biotch!

Brian C. Padgett 911 Call –
“Let Me Ask You a Question:
Would You Like $100,000 – Cash?”

This call speaks for itself. Please listen carefully. Please beware, there is some harsh language in it.

This was the 911 call made by Thomas Wiggins to the Henderson Police Dept. the morning of Katie Howard’s death.

Hours after waking up next to the lifeless body of a 38-year-old woman who Brian C. Padgett, a Las Vegas attorney, spent the night with snorting cocaine and other drugs (this is directly according to his confession to police) Thomas Wiggins confronts Padgett at the house on Moyer Drive and can be heard on this taped 911 call offering Wiggins $100,000 — to do what we’re not sure. Clearly the only thing he seems to be concerned about is his own narcissistic self.

All comments about this recording are welcome and will be uploaded.

Brian C. Padgett, Las Vegas,
Admitted Cocaine User,
Sends Threats via Third Party

(Please click on image to see full size.)

An open letter to Brian C. Padgett, Bar No. 7474, and Jennifer Lazovich, Bar No. 6714:

I have documented your veiled threats about your perceived clout and your baby mama Jennifer Lazovich’s Carson City lobbyist connections.

This site is not coming down. In my opinion, Brian, you are a complete loser, derelict and degenerate.

You have taken millions of dollars and tried to make a joke of the judicial system in Las Vegas by lying in open court to the judge and getting called out in court for using foul language.

Your threats only make me more resolute to spread the word of someone who has been admitted to the bar, who has woken up with a dead 38-year-old woman with absolutely no remorse whatsoever, after admitting to drug use and abuse.

You are a blight on the community. Your parents should be ashamed and embarrassed.

I will not go into every nuance of the threats I’ve received as a result of publishing this website, but I will say after meeting your parents, I find it hard to believe they would give you money to fight this fight. You brag about your family, the Keenans, and their lavish lifestyle in Anchorage, Alaska and Pauma Valley, California thanks to the alcohol business they’re in, and then you try to threaten me with their resources. I often think of how many times you would brag about your parents in California and their neighbor, Bill Murray. How would your mother view your behavior in Katie Howard’s death? My guess is that she would be shocked and disgusted.

What I don’t understand is your relationship with Jennifer Lazovich. In court, while I was sitting there, you said you were married. Then you tell people you are engaged. It’s my understanding, Jennifer’s extravagant engagement ring was bought in 2015 or 2016. I also was told by a confidential source that the ring was insured for $99,000. How’d you pay for that, Brian? She still wears it. Or are you going to go with the story that she paid for it herself.

Brian C. Padgett, Bar No. 7474, Is in My Opinion, A Low-Life Drug User With a Privileged License (Marijuana); Wake Up Clark County, NV Officials

Above is a montage of photos from the publicly accessible Henderson Police Department incident file on the night Katie Howard, 38, died. Click on the image to see full-size.

After watching Brian Padgett, Nevada Bar No. 7474, make promises, commit fraud to borrow money, and try to get a marijuana business up and running using other people’s investment money — nevermind the fact that there was a TRO (Temporary Restraining Order) in place as a result of ongoing litigation before a judge for CWNevada (Padgett’s marijuana business), which he completely ignored and did not inform investors of — coupled with the recently discovered details surrounding his involvement with a 38-year-old woman on the night of her death … it all has led me to believe that Padgett is a narcissistic sociopath.

My conclusion that Brian Padgett, Bar No. 7474, is a narcissistic sociopath is my opinion. I am not a doctor, I don’t have an MD, PhD or any sort of advanced degree – that simply is my opinion. You can judge for yourself after you read the details of Brian Padgett’s background.

In addition to ripping me off, he also did the same to a 69-year-old and 75-year-old — both investors in his marijuana business. Under the letter of the law in the state of Nevada, at least as I see it, that constitutes elder abuse. He’s clearly taken advantage of me, which is on me, but he’s also swindled, in my opinion, money out of two senior citizens, which carries legal consequences.

Katie Howard died June 25, 2017 during a night she spent with Brian Padgett, Nevada Bar No. 7474. This is the photo used in her obituary, which can be viewed here: Catherine Bridget/Katie Howard)

My research into Brian Padgett, Bar No. 7474 has led me into some very deep, dark, scary places. One of those places was the darkest. It involved death – the tragic death of Katie Howard, a 38-year-old woman, that came about after a night of partying and using cocaine, which he admits doing, to the Henderson Police Department (HPD). It is indeed devastating and heart-breaking. However, that evening, all Padgett seemed to be concerned with, in my opinion, was himself, not the tragic end of the life of a very pretty, relatively young 38-year-old Katie Howard.

At one point during a somewhat confusing and botched 911 call, Brian C. Padget, Nevada Bar No. 7474, can clearly be heard in the phone conversation offering $100,000 to Thomas Wiggins, one of Katie’s roommates, allegedly to get rid of Katie’s dead body. Brian denies that.

Seen below in this post are a series of photos taken of Brian Padgett, Bar No. 7474, after he had driven around for several hours following Katie’s death, which had yet to be reported to police, in his now-reposessed BMW X5, that indicate what a truly tragic night unfolded.

The focus of these images are of Brian Padgett and his lips. from a layman’s point of view — me being the layman — I would come to the conclusion that these are burn blisters. Perhaps made by smoking heroin (which also was found in the room that evening) — that’s my opinion. Again, I have no medical training — I’m just using my common sense and analysis of the facts of the police report.

While being questioned by HPD during their interview of him at the house where Katie died, when pressed, Brian Padgett admitted to using cocaine. According to the DEA, cocaine is a Schedule II drug; Schedule II drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with a high potential for abuse, with use potentially leading to severe psychological or physical dependence. These drugs are also considered dangerous and illegal throughout the U.S. People can face criminal charges in Nevada simply for possessing cocaine. As with most narcotic offenses, cocaine crimes are charged as felonies in Nevada. Possession for personal use is a Category E felony. A person convicted of using cocaine in Nevada can be subject to one to four years in Nevada State Prison, and up to $5,000 (at the court’s discretion).

Things get more serious and sentencing goes up from there if a person is convicted in Nevada of selling, importing, trading, transporting, dispensing, giving away, administering, or manufacturing cocaine. A person could be sentenced to one to six years in prison, and get hit with a fine of up to $20,000.

The photos shown above and in greater detail below, show a crime scene, I believe, even though no one was actually charged with a crime on the day of Katie Howard’s death, June 25, 2017. After all, the DEA clearly outlines cocaine as in illegal drug. In a recorded police interview, Brian Padgett, Bar No. 7474, clearly admits to the use of cocaine. I’m just wondering why Padgett was never charged for anything related to this day of death.

Katie Howard’s Last Days & Her Final Day With Brian C. Padgett, Bar No. 7474

Green Valley Ranch, where Katie Howard would spend her last days.

This is a story about Katie Howard’s final days on Earth.

It’s a sad tale, certainly for everyone who knew her, especially her family, and an ending that at least one central player in all of it, Brian C. Padgett, you would think would have a little more remorse and empathy.

This story is recreated according to official documents and recordings we received anonymously.

Katie Howard’s obituary photo. (View the obit here: Catherine Bridget/Katie Howard)

Katie Howard was only 38 years old. She was born in New York and given the name Catherine Bridget Howard. She grew up in Virginia Beach, Va. Everyone came to know her as Katie. She was one of four children born to her parents, Maurice and Margaret Howard.

She eventually left Virginia Beach and spent most of her adult life living in Las Vegas. Katie worked at the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse on the Las Vegas Strip as a server, according to Georgene “Gigi” Bratta, who lives in a modest home on Moyer Drive in the Henderson area. Gigi met Katie when she was a server at Smith & Wollensky’s, one of the top steakhouses in Las Vegas. Gigi and Katie became friends and remained friends for several years leading up to the date of Katie’s death, on June 25, 2017. In fact, Gigi would eventually take in Katie and allow her to live in a bedroom in her home when Katie apparently fell on hard times and had no where else to go. Katie moved in with Gigi about a month before her death.

The Victoria’s Secret in The District at Green Valley Ranch – where Gigi Bratta would last see Katie Howard alive.

Katie also met Brian C. Padgett while she was living in Las Vegas and the two began a friendship. Padgett is a Las Vegas attorney who specializes in cases of eminent domain, and he also had been running a marijuana business. Katie and Brian first met at a Rum Runner Bar a few months before her death. Rum Runner is the kind of place you go to watch sports on TV, build a $5.99 burger or grab some wings or pizza, and play pool or darts. It’s a pretty typical, family-run bar with plenty of bar-top digital poker machines.

The following is pulled together from a set of anonymous official records we received. We’ve done our due diligence and believe these to reflect the facts of the death of Katie Howard on June 25 and in the days leading up to that:

In the months between their meeting and Katie’s death, Brian said the two of them had become close friends and that he cared about her very much. He said, however, that they did not have a romantic, sexual relationship, that it was only platonic.

The Spa at Green Valley Ranch Casino

A few days before her death, Katie apparently had ants swarm her bedroom at Gigi’s Henderson home. As a result of that, Brian rented a room (in his name) for Katie on June 23 at Green Valley Ranch – a luxury resort, spa and casino also in the Henderson area, just a few minutes southeast of the Vegas Strip. Although he said he never went in the room, he said he thought it was sub-par for the resort and rented a different room for Katie for the night of June 24. Brian also allegedly paid for Katie and Gigi to get massages and get their nails done at the Green Valley Ranch Spa that day.

Gigi said she dropped Katie off at Victoria’s Secret that day in an area known as The District at Green Valley Ranch. It’s directly to the east of the main set of buildings that are Green Valley Ranch (GVR), which include the casino, hotel and spa. A couple dozen or so high-end shops, restaurants and other businesses line each side of the cobblestone street – Village Walk Drive – that runs through The District at GVR. When Gigi dropped Katie off at Victoria’s Secret, she didn’t know it would be the last time she would see Katie alive. After dropping off Katie, Gigi left The District and spent the evening with her boyfriend in a room at the MGM Grand on the Strip.

Two days before her death, Katie Howard publicizes that she is “in a relationship” on social media.

Apparently at around midnight on the 24th, Brian met Katie at GVR and picked her up to go back to the house at Moyer Drive, where she was staying with Gigi. Gigi wasn’t home that night, having gone to the MGM, and Brian said Katie told him she had a surprise for him. Allegedly, Brian thought the surprise reference might be that perhaps Katie was ready to take their relationship beyond the friendship stage and have a sexual encounter; or perhaps drugs, he allegedly thought. He said that he and Katie went to the bedroom Katie was living in where she disrobed down to her lingerie and where they proceeded to snort cocaine. Brian told police he had seen Katie use cocaine about a half a dozen times before.

However, after ingesting the cocaine, Brian alleged that he and Katie did not have sex, as he said she had become preoccupied with some sort of water problem in one of the bathrooms. She left the bedroom to investigate. Brian then, allegedly, fell asleep.

When he woke up, he allegedly said, he found Katie lying at the foot of the bed. He apparently could not rouse her, and said he began performing CPR for an extended period of time. He gave up, allegedly, when he could find no signs of life after this extended period of performing CPR. He then, according to the official anonymous records we reviewed, moved her onto the bed, laid her down in a sleeping position, and covered up everything but her face with blankets.

Now what does Brian do?

He left, according to the documents and other records we have collected, and a somewhat confusing time began. This is happening early on the morning of June 25, apparently sometime around 4:30 am or later. (Brian said he woke up between 3 and 4:30 am, which is when he discovered Katie’s body at the foot of the bed.) Brian said he didn’t know what to do and left in his car and called someone he uses for security, Ian Richie, to discuss. Allegedly Ian told Brian to call the paramedics and the police. Brian didn’t do this.

He apparently returned to Moyer Drive sometime later and encountered another roommate living at the house, who by now was awake, Thomas Wiggins, who was in his early 60s. According to the reports, Brian told Thomas what happened, and Thomas became very upset (to the point that Brian said he though Thomas would hit him) and insisted they call 911. This was at about 6:30 am. The two got into a heated argument because Thomas allegedly thought Brian was responsible for Katie’s death. Brian argued they should call Gigi first, as it was her house. From between approximately 6:30 am, which Thomas said was about the time he woke up, until about 7 am, the reports show that upon the police examining Brian’s phone, they counted six calls from Brian to Ian and several calls to Gigi. Also during this time, according to the reports, Brian had received a number of messages from women he was having sexual encounters with as they allegedly contained videos showing sex acts and references to sex acts performed with Brian as well as references to using cocaine.

The garage at the house on Moyer Drive, where Brian Padgett was photographed with a swollen lip by police. The yellow Camaro noted in the official reports we received can be seen parked in the driveway.

It was at about this time, at or about 7 am, that Thomas tried to use the phone in the house to call 911, according to the reports. The call went through, apparently, but the police only have a record of two men arguing during the call and one man offering another $100,000 cash. Police were able to hear the reference to the $100,000 cash twice. According to the reports, Thomas was unsure what the $100,000 was all about and could only speculate. Brian also could offer no explanation about the $100,000 and, according to the reports, denied saying anything about $100,00 in cash.

The police arrived and began interviewing and documenting evidence at the house on Moyer Drive. According to the reports, they saw Katie lying in bed. When they examined her, they saw evidence of lividity, which occurs when someone’s heart stops beating and blood pools, causing a purplish red discoloration of the skin. They also found suspected cocaine on the dresser next to the bed Katie was lying in as well as foil with burnt residue and cut straws nearby consistent with heroin use. There also were a number of prescription medication pills in Katie’s purse.

Police photographed Brian in front of the garage doors of the residence because of a swollen and distended lip he said he got from giving Katie mouth-to-mouth resuscitation when his lips bumped her teeth. However, Thomas told police that Brian told him he wouldn’t do mouth-to-mouth because of the sore on his mouth.

Autopsy results came several months later. It showed that the cause of death of Katie Howard was due to combined cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin intoxication. The case was closed. No charges were brought against Brian Padgett.

Brian Padgett, Admitted Cocaine User, Nevada Bar No. 7474

Along With Jennifer Lazovich, Attorney, Lobbyist & Baby Mama, Brian Padgett and She Both Share Ownership in CWNevada.

I have first-hand knowledge that Baby Mama, Jennifer Lazovich, was called by one of Brian’s female acquaintances named Natalie. She confronted Jennifer with Brian’s drug use and bizarre behavior, but allegedly turned a blind eye to it all.
